An East Tulsa birthday party turned bad early Saturday after police said fights broke out and two teen girls were stabbed.

Police arrested one person that lives at the house near 47th and Mingo early Saturday morning.

Bottle caps and broken glass were lying on the ground around the house Saturday afternoon.

A Friday night birthday party turned out of control when police said about 100 people showed for the  house party - many of them teenagers.

FOX23 reporter Price McKeon talked to a male who lives at the house. He did not want us to use his name or show his face on camera because he still stays in the house.

He said, “When the drama started everybody was so surprised.”

Police responded to a call of a fight in process a little after midnight Saturday morning.

The resident said, “Everybody came out to have fun. It shouldn’t have gotten to where it went.”

He told McKeon multiple fights broke out at the party.

He said, “They were fighting in the yard then they took it to the street.”

Police said while responding to the first call, another call came in for a stabbing.

He described the party, “It shouldn’t have gone down like that.”

When the officer approached the house he said he smelled marijuana. One officer reported a marijuana odor at the house. Police said they found marijuana and “large amounts of alcohol” inside the house.

Police arrested 22-year-old Maricle Thompson for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She was booked into the Tulsa’s jail early Saturday morning.

FOX23 got a copy of the arrest and booking report. The report lists contributing to the delinquency of a minor 11 times.

Police said the two stabbing victims walked to a Kum & Go and dialed for help.

We’ve learned their injuries are non-life threatening.

Thompson bonded out of jail Saturday.

Police said they have made an arrest in the stabbing incident but because that suspect is a minor, they will not release the suspect’s name.
