Plead guilty on charges of conspiring to murder with Zane Atchison in 2011

TULSA, Okla. - A man charged in the deaths of two people pleaded guilty this week.

Joel Pina pleaded guilty to an amended count of soliciting to commit murder and accessory after the fact.

Pina is accused of conspiring with Zane Atchison in a murder-for-hire scheme to kill Patrick Shawn and Kaylyn Kosofsky.

In 2011, Shawn and Kosofsky were shot to death near 71st Street and Riverside Drive.

Pina was sentenced to life in prison plus eight years.

In September, Atchison was sentenced to two life sentences without parole.
