Mechanical issues led to a flight from Kansas City to Houston being diverted to Tulsa.
Tulsa International Airport officials say the Southwest Airlines flight 254 was diverted just after 9:30 on Monday morning. The plane landed safely and got to the gate at 9:41. Airline officials say the pilot re-routed the plane after passengers smelled smoke in the cabin. There was no evidence of a fire.
There were 76 people on board, including crew, all the passengers were re-routed on other flights to Houston.
