Tulsa police arrested a man suspected of being a peeping Tom in an east Tulsa apartment complex.
Police were called to the Tower Crossing apartments near 41st and Mingo on Thursday. Maintenance workers told police they were doing security-light installation when they found strange items in the attic and several small holes dug into the ceiling above two tenants' apartments.
Officers talked to a tenant in one of the apartments and went into the attic. They found a large amount of panties, a wig, knife, pepper spray and documents belonging to the apartment tenant. The tenant told police she did not give anyone permission to be in her attic.
Police also found that someone in the attic used drywall to get access to another apartment. They also found more panties, pornography and a kitchen knife near that apartment.
Police spoke to the apartment manager and the couple that lived in one of the apartments. Police took the man who lived there, Carlos Perez, in for questioning.
Police said he admitted to digging the holes into the ceiling to watch the other resident on three different occasions and entering the apartment on one occasion and taking the panties and documents.
He faces three complaints of peeping Tom and one count of second-degree burglary.
