Tulsa police responded to a auto-pedestrian collision at 1:50 a.m. near the 2700 block of east Admiral Boulevard. The driver and the pedestrian are both described as adult males and are both expected to be OK.

Police received two conflicting stories about what caused the collision, but reports say the driver explained he couldn't avoid the pedestrian because the pedestrian was walking right in the middle of the road. The pedestrian said he was only trying to cross the street.

The pedestrian is expected to be OK; his current condition is unknown but when he left the scene he was able to talk to police coherently.

No one was initially cited in this case.
