The parole board denied parole for a man convicted of what investigators said is one of the most heinous crimes in Washington County.

David Sherrick is serving two life sentences for the deaths of Russell and Neva Holden. The Holden’s family and the Washington County Sheriff urge the board to deny the request.

Sherrick will be able to try for parole again in three years.
