Wiggler You gotta be careful with volunteers. Background checks certification waivers that omit the schools from responsibility if there are injuries ;-) the whole nine yards of red tape just to make sure anybody would be qualified to aid another in street crossing. Used to be student crossing guards in elementary school.

I agree that there should be lights and signs and that possibly the signs should not have been removed until new ones were ready. However, I also agree with mustangdriver. How many of those people complaining volunteer to assist with crossing? Any be careful with the "squeeky wheel" comment. Sometimes that just turns into "the little boy who called wolf".

People get their panties in a bunch so easy these days. How about helping with a solution instead of calling and complaining? Society is filling up with finger pointers these days.
