Vicky tries to explain how surreal it feels for Taylor to be gone.
“Feels like I've gotten into a nightmare,” she says, “and you think, ‘Okay, I'm wakin' up, I'm gonna wake up, I'm gonna wake up.’ You can't wake up 'cause it's not a nightmare, it's real, and it rips your heart out, it tears your insides out.”
Peter says he can’t think of anything else.
“I wake up thinking about my baby, I go to sleep thinking about her,” continues Peter. “I think about her all day long. It's really hard. I mean, she was just my life.”
Vicky hopes the new billboard on I-40W, just west of Hwy 75, will spur someone to come forward with new information.
“The only thing you can do,” she says, “is hope, you pray, that somebody will get the courage to tell people what they know, and somebody knows somethin'.”
