“It's a new way of using a longstanding means of getting people's attention,” reports FOX 23’s Kaci Christian. “This billboard, in Henryetta, on I-40 westbound just west of Hwy 75 is bringing the unsolved murder case of Skyla Whitaker and Taylor Paschal Placker back into the limelight, but for Taylor's parents, this tragedy is always on their minds.”
Taylor’s mom, Vicky Placker, is speaking out for the first time. "It's hard,” she sobs. “The last two days I didn't want to get up. I just want to curl up in a ball and go be with Taylor.”
Her husband, Peter Placker, is also very emotional when talking about Taylor and the unsolved murder.
“I think about my baby every day. I cry every day for her,” says Peter Placker, fighting back the tears. “It's just hard.”
