PSO announced it will begin replacing meters across their service territory.

More than 520,000 will be replaced with what is known as advanced meter infrastructure. The AMI meters will improve power restoration, enhance energy management, customers will also be able to see their usage online.

It will take three years to complete the project.

More than 30,000 PSO customers in Owasso, Sand Springs, Okmulgee and at the University of Tulsa already have AMI meters.
