PSO crews were busy Saturday morning dealing with power outages in Osage and Tulsa counties.
PSO spokesman Ed Bettinger told FOX23 that 112 customers were without power in Osage County early this morning. Bettinger said the electricity was out in a rural area in Barnsdall.
Bettinger said power should have been back on by 11 a.m.
Two incidents involving cars driving into poles caused several Tulsa County residents to be without power.
Bettinger told FOX23 the first incident occurred at 55th and Wheeling Avenue when a car hit a plow, which caused fuses to blow.
"A car damaged a pole, which knocked out electricity for people in the area," Bettinger said. "PSO was to fix the pole, and have everything back up and running between 9:30 and 10 a.m."
According to PSO's website, 163 customers were without power around 11:45 a.m.
The second incident involving a car into a pole occurred at 101st Street and 84th E. Avenue at approximately 9 a.m., Bettinger said.
"Crews have a lot of work to do," Bettinger said. "Customers in that area should have electricity back by 3 p.m. today."
