Due to the government shutdown, the Army Corps of Engineers is going through an orderly shutdown.

All campsites and boat launches operated by the Army Corps of Engineers are closed.

FOX23's Melissa Hawkes met an Owasso bride who's forced to find a new place to tie the knot.

For Gretchen Bush, it's a nightmare. She was planning to have her wedding on Saturday at Tall Chief Cove overlooking the water.

She sent out invitations giving guests detailed directions how to get there, but now these won't help her guests get to her wedding because it likely will not happen here.

"We wanted to keep it simple low key and easy going," she said.

With a beautiful backdrop of the lake and plenty of room for guests to sit down, she decided this was the perfect place to have her wedding and reception.

Until the government shutdown put a stop to her plans.

"Panic shaking and crying, I didn't know what I was going to do," she said.

She learned Tuesday the campground is now closed since its run by the Army Corps of Engineers.

"You think of stupid, little things and this pops up and I was not planning for that," she said.

She is scrambling to find a new location to hold her more than 100 guests.

"Even if we do find another place, that's a lot of people to redirect and find another place," she said.

She's hoping to find a friend's house to have their wedding in a back yard.

"It's a lot to ask but everyone keeps wanting to help," she said.
