Owasso names new police chief

The Owasso Police Department has a new chief.

Deputy Chief Scott Chambless has been promoted to lead the department. Chambless served as the deputy chief for the last nine years. Before that he worked in Hugo and Okmulgee Police Departments.

Chambless will take over the position immediately.
