One killed, 2 hurt in crash near Muskogee

One person is dead, 2 others badly hurt after an accident just south of Muskogee. The accident happened on old Highway 69 between Summit and Oktaha.

Police tell FOX23 a car and SUV hit head on around 7:30 Thursday night.  The car flipped into a ditch, killing the driver.

A man and woman in a white SUV had to be cut out of the vehicle. They were flown by helicopter to the hospital.  At last word they were in critical condition.

The victims' names have not been released.
