Betty Okino, Bronze Medal Gymnast from the 1992 Olympic Games, will be in Tulsa to help a Tulsa non-profit raise money and awareness for their program.

Gold Medal Night will be held at the Wyndham Hotel on April 19th. The purpose is to raise money and awareness for Aim High, who teach gymnastics with a twist of faith to more than 215 North Tulsa children. Okino will spend time encouraging the children to pursue their dreams as well as hosting the fundraising event.

"We are thrilled to have Betty Okino in Tulsa to support our program. She was one of the first African-American gymnasts to represent the USA in International Competitions. She did so with such grace and elegance. With gymnastics skills named after her due to her creativity, she left her mark in our sport. Our gymnasts are so excited to have the opportunity to meet her and to hear her story. They will be inspired." Aim High Founder, Jennifer Patterson
