The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Department says a suspect in a standoff is in an Oklahoma City mental health hospital.

They said Jamie English tried to run over his wife with a truck.

After a three hour standoff Tuesday afternoon English was still on the loose. A FOX23 News crew stood in front of the trailer house where it all happened.

Deputies with Okmulgee County Special Operations kicked in the door of a trailer home on North 245th Road near Hectorville Tuesday afternoon, looking for English.

The sheriff's office told FOX23 that English ran inside the trailer home after trying to run his wife over.

After deputies surrounded the trailer for close to three hours, they busted down the door and headed inside.

The sheriff's office told FOX23 that English was not inside and they have no idea where he went.

Some were worried he might be on their property.

"He could've been back there on the property," a deputy said. "There are plenty places to hide."

Deputies are still looking for English to question him.

There are people living not far away; FOX23 was told the victim ran to a house nearby.

After the highly-trained SWAT team used their elite skills to kick in the door of a mobile home, they just left it open and unguarded for anyone to come help themselves to whatever they could carry away. Facilitating burglary?
