Oklahoman Killed In Afghanistan

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The Department of Defense says an Air Force

civilian from Oklahoma has died in Afghanistan.

The Defense Department identified the civilian as Frank R.

Walker, 66, of Oklahoma City. It says Walker died of noncombat

related medical causes on Wednesday at Bagram Air Field,

Afghanistan.

Walker was assigned to the 72nd Civil Engineering Directorate at

Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. The Defense Department says

he was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Spokespersons for Tinker were not immediately available for

comment Saturday.
