Oklahoma inmate found dead in cell

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says an inmate was found dead in his cell on Sunday night.

Jerry Massie says Mark Stacy was found unresponsive in his cell at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester around 7 pm on Sunday. There were no visible signs of trauma and a cause of death has not been determined.

Officials say the medical examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.
