Oklahoma Prison Escapee Caught

UPDATE -- Tracy Cartwright was taken into custody this morning at 11:20am in Tulsa by the ODC apprehension team.  He was at 11th and Garnett.  He is currently being taken back to the Howard McCloud Correctional facility where he escaped from on April 2nd.

ATOKA, OK -- Authorities are searching for a prison escapee.  Tracy D. Cartwright escaped from the McLeod Correctional Center in Atoka, OK on Friday, April 2nd.  Cartwright was wearing prison grays and possibly traveling in a 2000 White Chevrolet Blazer with the tag 833-GKF.

Cartwright is described as a 42-year-old white male, 6'2", 196 lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has an eagle tattoo on his chest, a castle and face on back of left arm, skulls, flames and RIP Eric on left arm, and a Hot Rod Been on his left hip.
