The Oklahoma Marriage Initiative (OMI) reports Oklahoma is a divorcing state, with 32% of all adults having divorced compared to 21% nationally.
"We're consistently in the top 5 states for divorce," OMI Community Relations Specialist Amanda Carter said.
OMI is dedicated to helping couples on the verge before it's too late.
"We provide free marriage and relationship classes in an effort statewide to lower the divorce rate in ok and strengthen families," Carter said.
"Sometimes life gets so busy you forget about what you really mean to each other," Associate Minister of Christ United Methodist Church Jim Stilwell said after having been divorced and re-married. "Go back to the basis, back to the root of why you fell in love."
