Dear Fox 23, I realize it looks really bad, but I have been investigating the case and talking to witnesses. I am convinced, beyond any shadow of doubt, that Carolyn Nicole Vaughn is innocent. She is now serving 7 years of prison. Her 2 young children have lost their mother now. She did not willfully or maliciously harm any horses. One witness has come forward and told me that January of 2013 this witness was part of a "worming party". Witness tells me Nicole wormed the horses every 3 months and it took a group of people to round up the horses and worm them. January of 2013 they were all healthy looking. I have more evidence that points to her innocence. Nicole keeps saying a sickness swept through the herd causing them to loose weight and caused mares to abort foals and then die shortly after aborting the foals. The more I investigate, the more I see this as the truth.

Dear Fox 23, I realize it looks bad for her, but Carolyn Nicole Vaughn is innocent. Now she is now serving 7 years of prison. Her 2 young children have lost their mother now. She did not willfully or maliciously harm any horses. Quite the opposite. I have found a witness who has come forward and told me that January of 2013 this witness was part of a "worming party". Witness tells me Nicole wormed the horses every 3 months and it took a group of people to round up the horses and worm them. The witness tells me that January 2013 the entire herd looked healthy. I have more evidence that points to her innocence. Nicole keeps staying by her story which is that a sickness had entered the herd and was causing them to loose weight and the mares to abort their foals and then die shortly afterward. Only 3 months before the seizure, the entire herd was healthy. There's more to this story than what the sheriff's department is telling the public.
