A Tulsa police officer pulled a victim from a burning car after the car slammed into a power pole, downing power lines early Saturday morning.
Tulsa Police tell us the car was southbound on Harvard Avenue when the driver lost control, hit a curb, then hit a traffic light and a power pole, taking out both around midnight.
When Officer Cay Hicks arrived at the scene the car was in flames.
"When I drove up there were other people out on the scene, witnesses," Hicks said. "I asked if there was someone still inside, and they told me there was and that time I could see a male lying down in the rear passenger seat."
There were four other passengers who were already out of the car.
FOX23 was told all five people who were in the car were taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries.
