A man is arrested and a Tulsa police officer is recovering after a chase through a South Tulsa apartment complex.

A maintenance employee at the Stratford House Apartments, near 51st Street and Oswego Avenue, flagged down an officer around 10:30 p.m. on Monday. The employee said the man may have burglarized the complex.

Police tried to talk to the man, but he ran away. Officers chased him through the area. They ended up having to use pepper spray to get him under control.  The suspect was treated at the hospital and booked into jail.

An officer was hurt during the chase. He tore ligaments in his ankle.

@kindagreywolf The police officer you are talking about works out at the gym 4 days a week and is not overweight. You should not open your mouth and talk about things you know nothing about. It reveals how stupid you really are....

Yeah, I agree I think I would have tried to keep it mum until I could have it treated, discreetly! I would be willing to bet he will pay for letting that be known, hope he can take a lot of teasing!

haha. I can't help but laugh at this guy. If I had sprained my ankle, I think I would have toughed it out, atleast so it didn't make the news.
