Dallas is full of Cowboys fans, but they're wearing orange instead of blue.
Oklahoma State University fans have flooded Dallas ahead of Friday's Cotton Bowl matchup against Missouri.
FOX23's Ian Silver caught up to some fans who made the trip to support their team.
The official OSU hotel, the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Resort, was buzzing with excited and confident fans, thousands of them having made the drive in from Green Country.
Like many fans, Paul Hood was hoping he would get to see the Cowboys in a BCS game, but was still thrilled to be in Dallas.
He made the trip in from Bartlesville with his family, but felt right at home in Dallas.
"I think it's great. You know, course I went to Oklahoma State. Two of my kids did. And so we bleed orange. So it just feels like ... it feels good. It feels warm to see all the orange," said Paul Hood.
Paul Hood is at the game with his son, Bryce Hood.
Bryce Hood was a walk-on receiver for the Cowboys just a few years ago, so this isn't his first rodeo.
"You don't get that BCS shot; you don't get the Big XII title. But I think as far as a matchup goes, I think we're better off here. I think we're closer to home. The fan base is gonna be a little bit bigger here. So I'm excited," said.Bryce Hood.
There are all kinds of events around the Dallas/Fort Worth area, including an alumni and fan party in Arlington and a big send off for the team tonight at 7.
The tailgating and pregame celebrations are expected to get started pretty early on Friday.
