OSBI investigating double homicide in Bryan County

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a double homicide.
Deputies received a 911 call around 2pm Thursday telling them about a shooting in a home on Highway 70 just east of Bennington. When emergency crews arrived at the scene they found two men had been shot. One man died at the scene and the other victim died later at the hospital.
Deputies are holding a man in custody, but no one has been arrested for the double homicide. Several witnesses are being interviewed as deputies continue to investigate. OSBI is not releasing the names of the victims until their families have been notified.
