The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is issuing a warning for motorists to use extreme caution during morning travels.  Freezing rain and sleet continues to fall, making roadways in and around the Oklahoma City Metro area slick and hazardous.  Troopers warn drivers to use extra caution especially on elevated structures, such as bridges and overpasses.

Temperatures remain below freezing and roadways are expected to deteriorate rapidly.  You may obtain up to date weather and road conditions by logging onto the Department of Public Safety's website at www.dps.state.ok.us or call the DPS road and weather hotline at 888-425-2385.
