OHP troopers are searching for a driver who led them on a high-speed chase early Thursday morning.

Troopers tried to pull over a car near I-244 and Yale just after midnight, but the driver didn't stop. He ended up getting off the highway, running at least one red light and several stop signs. Speeds on city streets reached 70 miles per hour.

He ended up crashing into a stump, in a yard near east Newton and north Oswego, then ran off, but OHP says they have a good idea of who the driver is.
