Christopher was in custody of the state. He and three other boys were running away from a nearby group home. Two of the boys were still on the eastbound side of the barrier and was much further behind Christopher and the other boy who did make it across the highway. I was the first person to get to Christopher, and my heart just shattered when I looked up and saw that driver leaving! I am so sorry to Christopher and his family that this coward fled! I would really like information as to planned funeral services so I can send my condolences to his family!
