Oklahoma Highway Patrol was out in force last night to keep Oklahoma safe. Fifteen uniformed troopers were all over the Tulsa area from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. to conducting an aggressive traffic enforcement campaign.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers enforce the laws, specializing in this new campaign Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over. Troop B Commander, Capt. Jerry Reagan with Oklahoma Highway Patrol says, "We have some of the greatest DUI enforcers in the state ... possible the nation."
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says it will continue to work with the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office and with Oklahoma citizens to secure safe roadways.
Several arrests were made but troopers investigated only one minor collision on Friday involving two vehicles on Interstate 244 at Utica. No one was transported from the scene.
Troopers made 13 DUI arrests -- one drug arrest-- as well as five motorist assists and a total of issued 111 citations and warnings.
