A north Tulsa home is damaged after a fire breaks out Sunday afternoon.

The fire happened at a home near 46th Street North and North Johnstown Avenue around 4 Sunday.

Firefighters say kids playing in a back room of the house called 911 and told dispatchers some clothes had caught fire in the front of the house. Firefighters say flames were coming out of the front and the side of the house when they arrived on scene. They did a search and rescue at the home, but everyone had made it out safely.

Firefighters estimate about 60% of the home was damaged in the fire. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.

At least the kids had the ability and knowledge to call 911. Glad they all made it out ok.
