The Tulsa Police Department says a non-credible bomb threat was called into a south Tulsa Walmart on Thursday morning.

TPD says someone called the threat into the Walmart at 81st and Lewis around 9:24 and they were told the bomb would go off in 30 minutes.  Emergency crews were on standby and the store was evacuated.  After 45 minutes passed TPD determined the threat was not credible.

TFD says there was a threat believed to be non-credible at the Sand Springs Walmart on Thursday morning, they are not sure if this is connected.

Mike Carter from the Sand Springs Police department says there was a bomb threat called in at the store around 9:30 on Thursday morning, officers searched and found nothing.  Carter says the threat was called in by someone who said they overheard it and it's been determined not to be credible.

Did Walmart do something to make terrorist mad? I don't understand....bomb Walmart? Think of all the toxic Chinese material that would be spread around the area....good grief, we would all have lead and mercury poisioning.
