girlmontag: Put down the crack, you're hallucinating again. There is no such thing, legally, as a "stale yellow light." There is NO LAW AGAINST, nor is there a penalty for, running a yellow light at ANY point. That is what everyone is upset about. That, and police hypocrisy. And please, the primary problem by far that causes traffic crashes is drunk driving, which doesn't get enforced much. These cops are going for revenue and that's all. Period. Tulsa is well known to have an out of control crime problem that the police are doing NOTHING about, and a do nothing DA that can't wait to make a plea bargain to let real criminals out on the street, yet throws the book at law abiding citizens for very minor, harmless infractions like speeding and running yellow lights. So, get a grip and an education. Wake up and smell the corruption of local government.

Because some idiot running a red light when my kids and I are going through an intersection or someone flooring it to make it through a stale yellow light in perhaps dangerous weather (snow and ice, people) isn't promoting safety? Don't think I really have to say anything more.

It seems that Tulsa police don't understand the yellow light. Surprise, surprise. Go catch some real criminals. No taxation by citation!

If they wanted to give tickets then all they really need to do is watch any crosswalk. Drivers have the right of way not pedestrians. Whoa snap I forgot, cops violate the crosswalk laws too. Busses and other city vehicles. Every city driver.

Hell,everyday I see them run lights right in front of cops and they just set there,I motioned one setting beside at a light to go after one and all he did was look aggravated and mocked me,it's a revenue gig and that's all.

Selective enforcement. TPD only gives tickets to those that they choose !!! Saw a TPD cruiser dance around a group of cars 15-20 that were illegally parked. If you are the elite richy rich in Tulsa you have a golden pass. TPD, still judge jury and executioner. Criminal under cover of law in Tulsa. Business as usual with TPD !!!!!
