The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is clarifying a suspect has not been named in the Weleetka girls’ murder.
Skyla Whittaker and Taylor Paschal-Placker were gunned down in Weleetka in 2008. There have been rumors investigators have a suspect in the case, but investigators say they are following leads in the case, including anyone who has recently committed a violent crime in the area.
OSBI is still searching for the .40 Glock model 22 used to kill the girls. The serial number on the gun is EKG463US. There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to the gun.
If you have any information that could help police in this case call OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
