A Tulsa oral surgeon is facing three new lawsuits while the state health department investigates his practice.
FOX23 News has learned that two new lawsuits were filed on behalf of children who visited Dr. Scott Harrington. The suits accuse Harrington of medical negligence and seek more than $10,000 in damages.
Harrington is accused of exposing thousands of patients to HIV, hepatitis B and C through unsanitary practices. Last week, the health department revealed about 60 former patients had tested positive for those diseases.
Investigators are working to determine if those patients were infected by Harrington’s practice or another way.
