I would like to know if they ever plan on finishing Independence. A year or two ago, a construction crew came and tore up the middle part of Independence between Yale and Harvard, and turned the middle part into a dirt/gravel road. So every time you drive on it, your car gets filthy and you get rocks thrown up onto your car from the car in front of you. Plus, dirt and gravel get thrown up onto the yards of the homeowners on the street. Then, while mowing, their mowers send those rocks at bullet speed flying at the people walking down the street and driving by. Now, the dirt has a lot of holes in it causing a great deal of front end damage to each car as it drives on the street. Don't guess the city or whatever construction crew responsible for that mess cares to ever come and finish what they started.

Dealt with those people while picking up the storm debris, of all the people in Tulsa, the ones in that neighborhood are the worst. We were cussed at a couple of times because we blocked the road to keep everyone safe while the heavy equipment was used to remove the storm debris. They want work done but do not want you to get in their way to do it.
