To continue, I'm sure FOX would love to report on such a widespread community effort. Everyone who cares about this city can have their fifteen minutes. To help schedule "A Park A Saturday," or something along that line, message

I've been going to this park at least once a week for the past two years. It is sad to see this happen. It's not that the city takes better care of south Tulsa parks, it is the people. Teenagers drinking, people littering... These are our parks, not the government's. Maybe you guys would like to band together and help me clean the parks up one at a time. Everyone has trashbags. I'm sure someone can donate/make litter signs. If the city cannot keep up with the grass, can we not contract it out to local landscaping companies? The smaller the better. I have no problem buying a pair of waders and cleaning our ponds of all the trash as long as I know others will help me keep it that way. I don't mind being the "Crazy Wader Dude" as long as you DO mind being the quiet motionless victimized complainer.

I think Loving Park is a pretty good example of what's wrong with Tulsa Parks. We got the Riverparks (and even they couldn't be bothered to correctly stripe a cycleway, it's not that hard, edgelines white, centerlines yellow, just like with any other public highway, save you only have one centerline instead of two, and it's either passing both ways or no passing both ways depending on if that centerline is solid or not). But then you get something that was a gift from the National Parks Service like Loving Park, and it's left to rot like a vacant lot...

Someone should take him to Loving Park off North Mingo. I can't recall the tennis court ever having a net, the grass is overground, and the pool is closed but collected enough water to be a pretty sweet mosquito habitat...

My goodness, a park in South Tulsa is in disrepair? We can't have this. Parks in North Tulsa, sure. They can continue to rot. No one cares about that. But a South Tulsa park? This just can't happen.
