Neighbors say something needs to be done about a road they say is dangerous.

A three-car crash Friday night north of I-244 on Easton near Sheridan sent seven people to the hospital, including two children.

On Friday night, a truck, SUV, and silver car ended up in two different ditches. Neighbors said this was one of many accidents they've seen happen.

Three people were ejected from their cars, including two children: an 8-year-old boy and a baby.

Police told FOX23 on the scene they believed everyone would survive.

Neighbor Jesse Robinson was at the scene.

"It was pretty intense," he said.

He said accidents happen on Easton all the time that cars often go off into the ditches on either side of the road.

"The ditches are so steep we had a wrecker go in and couldn't get out and had to have (another) wrecker to pull him out," he said.

Neighbors say there's no room for error on the road.

"You swerve just a little and your car ends up in the ditch. You will go down in. I've seen it many times," he said.

With no streetlights, it's dark at night. Robinson said the smallest distraction, a phone call or text, could cause a wreck.

"The distracted driving is so bad," he said.

On the night of the accident, a movie was playing at the Admiral Twin Drive-In.

Police investigated the crash but told FOX23 they haven't released the report yet.

Robinson said drivers should always pay attention, but said here it's even more important.

And he'd like to see change. He said the ditches are too deep, the street could use some lighting, or even signs to warn drivers.

Robinson believes many of the wrecks he's seen could've been prevented.

"Until they do something, I see this happening a lot more," he said.

FOX23 checked with Tulsa police and found in the past five years there have been 13 wrecks on this stretch of road.

All streets are dangerous, because there are drivers on them that couldn't care less who they murder. Some woman tried to mow me down this morning by running a red light and turning right at 8th and Boston just as I stepped out into the crosswalk.

Interstate highways dont have streetlights, and you can go 75 without usually hitting anyone. The problem isnt streetlights, geniuses.
