Neighbors are speaking out about the overnight shooting in an apartment complex in east Tulsa.
Sebastian Geiger, a 21-year-old locksmith, went to answer a call about someone who locked their keys in the car at the Beckett Ridge Apartment Complex near 49th and Memorial streets.
After an argument about payment, the gunman went back into the house and came back out firing a gun as Geiger was leaving, police said. Geiger was taken to the hospital but did not survive.
One tenant, Victoria Going told FOX23 she saw it happen.
"As we're walking up to my window the second and third shot were fired," she said.
She said she's recently feared for her safety.
"I don't even feel comfortable to sit in my living room without putting a blanket up," she said.
She turned in descriptions to the police and saw someone taken away in a cop's car.
Other tenants didn't see what happened but heard the commotion late at night.
"It makes me sick to my stomach. He was probably just trying to take care of himself, take care of his family," said Linda Robison, another tenant.
Residents told FOX23 they would've rather paid the locksmith fees themselves than to have this happen near their homes.
Police have not released the name of the person taken into custody, but he has been released. Police are still looking for two other people.
