Naked man arrested in McAlester is escapee from Iowa

An Iowa escapee was captured in McAlester walking around naked.

Police arrested 49-year old David William Allison on June 6th.

According to the affidavit police were called to highway 69 and Peaceable road around 7 p.m. on the 6th to investigate a man walking naked in the center median.

Police said they made contact with Allison and asked him to put his clothes on, he responded by asking if he was naked. Police asked again and he got dressed.

Police said Allison told them he was paranoid someone was following him and no one would call police for him so he took off his clothes so someone would call the police.

According to the affidavit police asked Allison if he’d taken any drugs and he admitted to smoking pot. Police said they also found drug residue and a syringe in his pants pocket.

Allison was arrested on complaints of complaints of indecent exposure, possession of controlled dangerous substance, and paraphernalia.

After he was arrested Police learned he was an escapee from Iowa and contacted authorities there to put a hold on him.
