A woman was shot multiple times near 4th and Kalamazoo St in Muskogee.
Police were called to the scene after midnight on Friday. Upon arrival, they found the victim, 50-year old Mary Page, wounded with multiple gunshot wounds in her torso. She is currently being treated at a Muskogee hospital.
Witnesses say the suspect knocked on the house door, then fired shots through the closed door and left the scene.
In the house was another adult and four small children. No one else was hurt.
Police are still investigating this case.
