Muskogee police investigating embezzlement claims

The Muskogee Police Department received a report about a possible embezzlement from Muskogee Public Schools.
The report alleges embezzlement of several thousands of dollars from August 2011 to May of 2012 by a former school employee.
Muskogee police say the case is currently under investigation. Once the investigation is completed, the findings will be forwarded to the Muskogee County District Attorney.
