Muskogee police investigate arsons

Muskogee police investigators are seeking information on two arson fires that took place in the city.

The first fire occurred at the Foxcroft Apartments at 1223 Foxcroft circle on July 2nd between 8 and 10 in the morning. Police say the suspects set fire to the building causing extensive damage to multiple units.

The second fire took place just hundreds of yards away at the Homeland grocery store at 1300 south York Street. The suspects set fire to the rear of the business also causing extensive damage. A witness near the scene stated that they saw a small white car leaving the area as the fire started.

If anyone has any information we would ask them to contact investigations at 918-680-3113. A crime stoppers reward may be offered if a tip leads to an arrest.
