Muskogee councilman arrested

The Wagoner County Sheriff’s department says a Muskogee City Councilman was arrested for driving under the influence on December 5th.
Deputies say Reverend Derrick A. Reed was arrested and faces a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. In 2008, Reed was elected the Muskogee NAACP Adult Branch President and he also hosts and produced a weekly gospel music radio show called the Joy In The Morning Gospel Show on Sunday mornings on KTFX FM.
Reed entered a not guilty plea, a hearing date has been set for January 3rd.
