" My first reaction was if I had a daughter up there I'd be going up stage and grabbing her off stage," parent Neil Berryman said.
Parent Neil Berryman said a Rihanna song, along with Katy Perry's "California Gurls" were the two songs he was shocked to hear come out of the speakers and even out of the children's mouths.
" When you see little girls going up on stage with tee shirts and bikinis on. Then singing about guys looking at me with hardly any cloths on and some of them were singing to it," Berryman said.
After talking to the director of the program who Berryman said he's known throughout his life. She apologized and said she'll find out who picked the music and talk with that person. Neil said he just wants other parents and people to understand, this isn't alright.
" We went on to Facebook like a lot of people do now, and we figured you know we need to let people in the public realize what just happened," Berryman said.
On Facebook, its creating a buzz one parent says.
" There was nothing offensive about it my daughter was in it and if it was she wouldn't have took part in it. " Sand Springs parent.
But Neil disagrees and hopes that music doesn't make it around children anymore.
" I don't have a problem with any of these artists, they even say themselves that these songs are made for adults they're not made for kids," Berryman said.
