The tornado in Moore killed seven children in an elementary school.
Plaza Towers Elementary school didn't have a storm shelter; neither do 94% of Oklahoma schools. Kristi Conatzer is the mother of one of the children who died in Plaza Towers, 3rd grader Emily.
Conatzer talked to FOX23 about Emily's final moments as she huddled in a hallway.
She wants to know why her school didn't have a shelter.
“You try to hold the anger back because you’re hurting so much, but I’m angry,” she said.
Conatzer has an idea how to put them in every school and thinks it should be a priority.
Tonight in a FOX23 investigation: why some schools have shelters and others don't- on FOX23 News at 9.
