Some students at Rogers High School wore purple on Monday in memory of 18-year old Gabby Bledsoe.

Gabby was stabbed to death at her north Tulsa home, and the victim’s mother reportedly found her body. Police have not made any arrests.

FOX23’s Sharon Phillips talked to Lacrecia Bledsoe about her daughter, as she recounted the final moments before she found her daughter's body.

Bledsoe said her 18-year-old honor student was home alone on Friday night and early Saturday morning, she realized that someone had tried to call her cell phone several times from Gabby's phone.
No one answered when she called back, so Lacrecia rushed home.

"When I tried the door it was already unlocked, which frightened me right then and there because she would never be in the house alone with the doors unlocked like that," said Bledsoe.

She says she can't get the picture of her daughter lying on the floor out of her mind.
"As soon as I opened the door her body was laying right there at the beginning of the hallway. That's when I saw the handle of the knife sticking out the back right here and I immediately lost it," says Bledsoe.

FOX23’s Sharon Phillips talked to police about the progress of the investigation, and they told her they have interviewed several people of interest, but so far nothing has panned out. Tulsa police did say they have another person of interest, but are waiting on the evidence recovered at the scene to be processed. The family says they have a good idea of who may have killed Gabby.

Gabby's mother says her daughter was a Christian and so she takes comfort knowing that she is now in a better place.
“She believed in God and she had strong faith and she would tell you in a minute that I'm God's child," says Bledsoe.

Gabby Bledsoe’s funeral is scheduled for 10 on Saturday morning at Crown Hill Funeral Home.
