A Jenks teen charged with first-degree murder will be tried as an adult.

In October, FOX23 told you a judge ruled 15-year-old Joshua Mooney will not be tried as a youthful offender. That decision was appealed and Thursday Mooney's appeal was denied.

Mooney is accused of killing Mary Escue just days before Christmas 2012 at her parents' home in Jenks.
