Molded Products, Inc. broke ground on five acres in Broken Arrow on Monday.

Plans are to build a new 30,000 square foot facility, with the ability to add an additional 20,000 square feet in the future.

In this new location, the company will expand their production capacity and product line. Additionally, this will enable them to hire new employees for the next few years as the business expands.

“Molded Products was founded in 1986 and initially focused on providing rubber molded goods for the automotive aftermarket. As the company grew, the rubber molding focus evolved to being a provider of contract manufacturing for a variety of industrial markets. We currently operate 24 hours a day, 5 days a week out of two separate facilities. We look forward to streamlining our operations by having everyone under one roof,” stated Allen Clonts, Business Manager with Molded Products. “The new space will allow us to hire additional employees, increase our productivity, and continue growing the company.”

The company, which is currently located in Tulsa, decided to move to Broken Arrow because of the opportunity to expand economically in a new growing industrial development, with access to a high quality workforce, and the State Small Employer Quality Jobs Program tax incentives available in Wagoner County.
