Mini horse found dead in Rogers County

The Rogers County Sheriff is investigating after a mini horse was found dead on Thursday night.

They say someone called to report the small animal in the road and two people tried to move it but could not. Deputies say the horse had been shot once. The owner has not been found and deputies do not know where the horse came from.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office at 918-341-3620.

Poor little horse I'm just thinking someone will probably miss a treasure like that. Was it done in spite ? Jealousy ? Taxidermy?? Who knows??

I know there are mini horses off of hwy 88 & flint road.
