Tulsa police say they arrested Glenn Reese, 43, an ex-con with a history of meth and other arrests, at a South Tulsa Wal-Mart store Thursday night.

Reese came to the store at 81st and Lewis on a bike, and carried a backpack inside.  Police say employees suspected him of shoplifting, followed him outside, and opened his backpack, finding a shake-and-bake meth lab inside.

Police were called, secured the chemicals and took Reese into custody.

TPD has busted a record number of meth labs in 2011, surpassing 330 labs; many of them the one-pot, or shake-and-bake variety.

Being a meth addict for 38 years it is difficult to see the self centeredness you have and yes you really don't care for others. Thank God, I found out that I'm not a bad person I'm just a sick person who wanted to get better but just didn't know how. I have a disease, but there is recovery, I now have 3 1/2 years clean and have changed my life around, I am a full time student at MSSU, and I just want to convey to all that there is HOPE!

Meth and crack addicts don't care about you or your families, all they care about is getting high, they don't think about consequences or getting caught, their only aim in life is to get high, they are stupid because their brain is cooked already, a few get cured, most don't want to be cured, all they can think about is meth, if they can't find meth, they will use anything until they can get more, they will sell anything you or they own, including their kids to get the drug. We need to figure out some way to at least slow down the manufacturing, it this law helps even a little, it is better than nothing, what we are doing isn't working because the system just dumps them back into society where they make more meth and create a few more meth heads, it is increasing exponentially(sp?), soon Tulsa will be like that movie with Kurt Russell, what was it....Escape from New York, a penal colony, if you are trapped inside when the walls go up, oh well, you just learn to live with it or die inside.

I think if your stupid enough to walk around with an active meth lab on your back then your stupid enough to get caught. Are people really so desperate that they not only putting their own life at risk, but also the innocent and for what, a high that's not going to last and a drug that is going to run out. Go to treatment and get help before you go to prison for murder. Where is the common sense gone? For some reason people has lost that.

FACT: Pseudoephedrine (PSE) is NOT required in order to make meth. There are at least NINE other substances, many of them easily available, that can be made into meth. FACT: PSE is the ONLY safe and effective decongestant available. FACT: Cold and allergy sufferers will be punished by this new law enforcement fad, while it won't affect meth production one bit. FACT: This WILL raise the price of PSE. FACT: This WILL raise the cost of health care. FACT: The DEA and the DOJ say that gel caps and liquid can be used to make meth. See for yourself: http://tinyurl.com/43q4b5c FACT: Gel caps and liquid are ALREADY being used to produce meth. See for yourself from this article dated 2005: http://tinyurl.com/3z7revt FACT: We have been told before that the previous laws have virtually wiped out meth production. We all know that turned out to be a pack of lies from the SAME PEOPLE that are pushing this new bill. See for yourself: http://tinyurl.com/cuzq3of (PowerPoint file) FACT: Any time a law is aimed at punishing law abiding citizens instead of criminals, it doesn't work.

umm roadhunter sorry to break the news to you but they didnt need his consent to search. If he was shoplifting they would have searched him anyhow for merchandise

Meth proof pseudoephedrine is being made right now and will hit the shelves in about 4 months. The crazy thing is the big pseudo makers won't add it because they make millions off the meth cooks. I think it will take a law to force them to make it safe !!

He never should have consented to their search. Employees of Wal-Mart: Are you paid enough to put your life at risk to prevent shoplifting? I didn't think so. Carry on.
